Faith

First Parish belongs to the United Church of Christ (UCC), and we welcome everyone to our doors. Our faith also drives our support for various Missions activities, as well as our active Christian Education and Music programs.

Organization

Working under the Senior Pastor, the Parish Council oversees various Boards and Committees that govern and guide the Church communitee. See their summaries in the Annual report for 2003-2004.

Prominent amongst these are the Diaconate, Christian Education, Stewardship, Christian Outreach and Mission, and Music boards.

Location

We are located at 47 East Derry Road in historic East Derry Village (get directions). The church building complex serves essential needs for the local community. Its various function and meeting rooms support groups throughout the week -- download the current calendar of activities -- and its classrooms support Christian Education as well as the Nutfield Cooperative School.
