Lenten Fellowship Suppers — February 22 & 29, March 7 & 14, 6:30 pm
Every Friday evening in Lent all parishioners are invited to a potluck supper (in either MacGregor or Currier Hall). Sign up after 10:00 am Sunday Service to bring an entree, side, dessert, or other items. Contact CHarlie Stewart for details.

Adult Study — Sundays February 10 - March 16, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, Cook Conference Room
Using the book The Jesus Way, by Eugene Peterson (avalable in the office), we'll continue the exploration of the questions in Worship in a Sunday evening discussion time.  Peterson's book probes a way of sacrifice, a way of failure, a way on the margins, a way of holiness.  All of these ways prepared the "way of the Lord" that became incarnate and complete in Jesus.  And then he asks if somewhere along the line, we've lost the way.

Arguing that the way Jesus leads and the way we follow are symbiotic, Peterson begins with a study of how the ways of those who came before Christ -- Abraham, Moses, David, Elijah, Isaiah of Jerusalem, and Isaiah of the Exile -- revealed and prepared the "way of the Lord" that became complete in Jesus. He then challenges the ways of the contemporary American church, showing in stark relief how what we have chosen to focus on -- consumerism, celebrity, charisma, and so forth -- obliterates what is unique in the Jesus way. April 2008

Annual Youth MInistry Auction — Sunday, April 6
This year's theme: Highway to Heaven. Lunch will be provided after CHurch Service, then the fun begins!

New Orleans Service Trip — April 13 - 19
We're going back to New Orleans for another round of post Katrina clean-up April 13-19, 2008.  The work has shifted to rebuilding and recovery.  Mark your calendars now and watch for more information; or speak with Alice Ling.
